Our client is a French company founded in 2022, specializing in the development, industrialization, and production of high-power hydrogen fuel cell systems.
To support its strong growth and as part of the launch of a new generation of systems, the company is looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer (M/F), responsible for the design and integration of electrical systems ensuring the interconnection between the fuel cell module, the Power Conversion Unit (PCU), the energy storage system, auxiliary equipment, the cooling system, and the control system.
Your missions
- Define and evolve the electrical architecture of fuel cell energy production systems, including the Power Conversion Unit (PCU), the fuel cell module, the energy storage system, auxiliary equipment (BoP), and peripheral equipment.
- Design the electrical wiring architecture: cable routing, harnesses, power distribution, protection devices, grounding, and electrical interfaces.
- Define and select the main electrical equipment: power converters, inverters, DC/DC converters, contactors, circuit breakers, sensors, power supplies, transformers, and energy storage systems.
- Define the electrical interfaces with PLCs, HMIs, power electronics, cooling systems, instrumentation, and customer installations.
- Produce electrical diagrams, interface documentation, technical specifications, as well as Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Participate in the selection of suppliers, analyze their technical proposals, and guarantee their compliance with project requirements.
- Contribute to equipment integration, commissioning, system validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Guarantee design compliance with electrical safety requirements, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), insulation coordination, grounding, and applicable international standards.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of electrical integration methods, reliability, and product performance.
Your profile
- Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, Energy Systems, or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and integration of electrical systems for industrial equipment in fields such as stationary energy production systems, generator sets, industrial automation, power conversion equipment, renewable energy, or industrial electrical equipment.
- Solid knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, industrial power distribution, and the integration of power electronics equipment (inverters, converters, rectifiers, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and energy storage systems, ...).
- Mastery of electrical architecture design, cable sizing, protection devices, protection coordination, grounding, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Knowledge of interfaces with industrial PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus TCP/IP, and Ethernet.
- Ability to create and interpret electrical diagrams using software such as EPLAN, SEE Electrical, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent.
- Professional English is essential.
Job advantages
- Design innovative products that concretely contribute to the energy transition.
- Participate in ambitious multidisciplinary technical projects.
- Follow your designs from the initial idea through to industrialization.
