Senior Quantity Surveyor - HarbourFront URGENT!!!

Manage the full spectrum of quantity surveying and commercial activities for the project from procurement through final account. Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, forecasts, cash flow, and cost reports . Monitor project expenditure and identify cost variances, commercial risks, and opportunities. Handle tendering and procurement , including preparation of RFQs, tender evaluation, cost comparison, negotiation, and recommendation of subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare, review, and administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and contractual documentation . Assess and certify subcontractor progress claims , variation orders, and final accounts. Prepare and submit progress claims, variation claims, and supporting documentation to clients/consultants. Identify, evaluate, substantiate, and negotiate variations, additional works, and contractual claims . Maintain proper records for changes in scope, instructions, site conditions, and other matters with potential cost or contractual impact. Work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on commercial and contractual matters. Participate in commercial and progress meetings and provide updates on project cost performance. Ensure contractual obligations, commercial procedures, and internal cost-control requirements are properly followed. Manage final account preparation, negotiation, and settlement with clients and subcontractors. Mentor or supervise junior Quantity Surveyors where required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering , or a related discipline.
• Typically 8–10+ years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience , preferably with a main contractor in Singapore .
• Strong experience in major building, commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, or complex construction projects .
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction contracts, measurement, cost control, variation management, claims, and subcontract administration .
• Strong experience in pre- and post-contract QS functions .
• Able to independently manage subcontract packages from RFQ/tender through final account .
• Strong negotiation, commercial analysis, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with established A1/main contractors and large-scale Singapore projects would be advantageous.
