Your tasks
- Involves all aspects relating to the design and construction management of all types of civil and structural systems for industrial facility buildings;
- Assists project managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality;
- Prepares, issues and evaluates tender packages;
- Design and construction experience, preferably in industrial buildings with precast and long-span roof trusses.
- Site experience on piling works, substructure and superstructure works for reinforced concrete, steel structures and precast structures.
- Experience working closely with process, mechanical and electrical disciplines and quantity surveyors.
- Experience of liaising with consultants and contractors.
- Experience with checking shop drawings for precast and steel structures and being able to do detailed design and work in a team and being able to provide details for the computer-aided design team.
- Coordinates with architectural, process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines and quantity surveyors;
- Address site issues related to design;
- Liaises with consultants and subcontractors;
- Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
- Responsible for ensuring to remain familiar with current practices and engineering trends within the industry and to remain technically competent;
- Ad hoc duties as determined by management.
Requirements
Job Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- 4-10 years of design and construction experience.
- Element design based on codal requirements
- Knowledge of structural design software STAAD-Pro, Prokon, Orion, etc. (if any)
