Architectural Supervisor (3 MONTHS) URGENT
Job Responsibilities Coordinate, monitor, and supervise all architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, design intent, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and related technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
Work closely with the Technical Department, Construction Team, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve architectural, technical, and site coordination issues.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, installation quality, progress, and compliance with approved drawings and safety requirements.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor architectural work progress to ensure activities are completed according to the project schedule.
Identify and resolve design discrepancies, construction clashes, and interface issues involving architectural, M&E, façade, and structural works.
Prepare fortnightly work schedules and coordinate planned activities with relevant subcontractors.
Provide technical guidance and site support to subcontractors to ensure proper execution of architectural works.
Coordinate architectural finishes, materials, detailing, mock-ups, and installation works to achieve the required quality standards.
Ensure architectural works comply with applicable local building codes, statutory requirements, authority regulations, and project specifications.
Liaise closely with Construction Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of works.
Monitor subcontractor performance and follow up on outstanding works, defects, and corrective actions.
Assist with inspections, testing, defect rectification, and preparation for project handover.
Maintain proper site records, progress updates, and documentation relating to architectural works.
Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the Project or Construction Management team.
Requirements Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant site coordination and supervision experience , preferably in large-scale building or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, finishes, materials, installation methods, and construction practices.
Strong experience in architectural site coordination and supervision, including coordination with M&E, façade, and structural trades .
Proficient in reading, reviewing, and interpreting architectural, structural, M&E, and engineering drawings.
Familiar with local building codes, authority requirements, statutory regulations, and construction standards.
Experience in resolving site clashes, technical discrepancies, and architectural interface issues.
Good understanding of construction sequencing, site planning, quality control, and defect management.
Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple site activities, and perform effectively under tight project schedules.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD ; knowledge of other construction, BIM, or drawing coordination software will be an advantage.
