Join in implementing demanding marine industry turnkey projects

We are looking for an experienced HVAC & Piping Design Lead to be responsible for the design of our customer's ventilation, cooling, and piping systems, as well as technical coordination in international projects in the Turku region.

In this role, you will act as a key technical expert between design, construction, customers, and equipment suppliers, ensuring the high-quality and cost-effective implementation of projects.

In your role, you will be responsible for:

• Coordination and leadership of HVAC and piping design
• Management of design quality, schedule, and budget
• Definition of technical specifications and scope of delivery
• Preparation and monitoring of design schedules
• Preparation of cost estimates and technical calculations
• Technical support for procurement and preparation of tender documents
• Cooperation with customers, shipyards, authorities, and suppliers
• Preparation of inspection and testing plans together with the quality organization
• Technical support for projects during the implementation and warranty phases.

We expect from you:

• Relevant technical education
• Several years of experience in HVAC or piping design
• Experience in demanding offshore or marine industry turnkey projects
• Strong knowledge of international standards and regulations
• Experience in coordinating design between different stakeholders
• AutoCAD skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• AVEVA skills are considered an advantage
• Fluent English language skills.
