Maintenance Lead

Job Purpose

To ensure the safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of production equipment by effectively planning, coordinating, and overseeing technical maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment to ensure its safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.
• Make decisions related to the procurement of spare parts for production equipment and follow up on the purchasing process.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance activities to ensure their timely and proper execution.
• Supervise the operation of auxiliary facilities and ensure their reliable and uninterrupted functioning.
• Participate in discussions related to engineering projects.
• Initiate and propose new engineering projects and improvement initiatives.
• Manage and control the department's documentation and workflow.
• Allocate responsibilities and assign tasks to department employees.
• Ensure the proper and efficient performance of department employees.
• Make decisions related to the day-to-day operations and activities of the department.
• Ensure the department is appropriately represented in meetings and discussions.
• Present proposals and recommendations related to the department's activities to management for consideration.
• Participate in the selection and recruitment of department employees and make relevant hiring decisions.
• Support the professional development and continuous learning of department employees.
• Conduct monthly performance evaluations of department employees and determine monthly incentive payments based on performance results.
• Conduct quarterly and annual performance and potential assessments and contribute to employees' career development planning.
• Ensure cross-functionality and mutual replaceability among department employees.
• Plan, manage, and monitor the department's budget.

Requirements & Skills

• Excellent command of English, including excellent technical English.
• Excellent command of Russian.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• General knowledge of technical equipment, machinery, and their operation.
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Good understanding of maintenance processes and engineering-related activities.
