Your Responsibilities

  • Assumption of the owner function as well as full responsibility for the holistic commercial Asset Management of selected logistics and light industrial real estate throughout Germany
  • Initiation, planning, and implementation of value enhancement strategies for the responsible real estate portfolio, particularly through the execution and negotiation of new and re-lettings, lease optimizations, space adjustments, modernizations, renovations, as well as the optimization of operating costs
  • Development and implementation of leasing strategies considering market, location, and user requirements as well as the respective third-party usability of the properties
  • Identification of development potential and continuous maximization of the value and earnings potential of the logistics real estate under your responsibility
  • Analysis and optimization of the tenant structure as well as development of long-term strategies to secure and increase the occupancy rate and cash flows
  • Creation, implementation, and continuous monitoring of annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Input from an asset management perspective to support the transaction team in the valuation and examination of potential acquisitions and sales of logistics real estate
  • Communication with and identification of commercial prospective tenants, tenants, and relevant market participants, as well as the development and implementation of long-term leasing concepts
  • Independent management and negotiation of lease extensions, new lettings, re-lettings, and lease adjustments
  • Close cooperation with Property Management, Technical Management, Development, Construction, and other internal and external interfaces
  • Selection, management, and monitoring of external service providers, brokers, and consultants
  • Preparation of profitability calculations, cash flow analyses, and decision templates
  • Preparation of internal asset management reporting as well as preparation of relevant key figures and recommendations for action for management
  • Direct reporting to the Head of Asset Management Germany

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in business administration (e.g., BWL, Business Administration, VWL) or real estate management (e.g., IREBS, BA etc.), ideally with a real estate-specific focus (e.g., Bachelor/Master in Real Estate, Immobilienökonomie or similar)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in Asset Management, Leasing Management, or a comparable real estate function, ideally with sound leasing experience in the field of logistics and commercial real estate
  • Very good knowledge of the German logistics and commercial real estate market as well as a good understanding of relevant market and location developments
  • Experience in the development and implementation of leasing and value enhancement strategies
  • Confident appearance as well as experience in leading lease and leasing negotiations
  • Strong commercial understanding as well as a good understanding of cash flow calculations, business plans, and portfolio analyses
  • Self-motivation and stress resistance as well as the willingness to work in an international and dynamic organization with a strong entrepreneurial culture
  • Team player with persuasiveness, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to represent the company highly professionally to tenants, business partners, and market participants
  • Proficient use of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent skills in creating reports and decision templates as well as high attention to detail
  • High motivation, agility, and a strong hands-on mentality
  • Entrepreneurial thinking as well as the ability to independently identify opportunities and translate them into concrete measures
  • Very good written and spoken English skills are indispensable
  • Willingness to travel within Germany
