Senior Actuary

We are looking for a Senior Actuary to work on activities related to solvency calculations in the Brazilian and European models (Solvency II), preparation of the ORSA, risk monitoring, participation in committees, and development of technical studies that support the company's decision-making. The position will also involve working on the improvement of models, processes, and tools within the area.

Responsibilities and duties

• Perform the solvency capital calculation under local standards (CMR and PLA) and European standards (SCR), considering underwriting, market, credit, and operational risks;
• Support the conduct of technical studies, including reinsurance analyses, product feasibility, and profitability;
• Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment);
• Monitor risk management indicators and metrics;
• Follow the Income Statement (DRE) and Profitability of Existing Products;
• Evaluate the quality, consistency, and governance of risk models, contributing to their validation and evolution;
• Act in forums, internal committees, and market groups related to risk management and solvency;
• Develop, automate, and improve tools, controls, models, and processes;

Requirements and qualifications

• Completed degree in Actuarial Sciences;
• Postgraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Risk Management, or related areas;
• Advanced Office Package;
• Advanced or Fluent English, with the ability for written and verbal communication with international stakeholders;
• Experience in quantitative analysis, risk management, or actuarial activities;
• Ability to act with autonomy, organization, and focus on results;
• Good communication and ease of relationship with different areas.

Desirable Requirements:

• Solid experience in Solvency (SII);
• Knowledge of data analysis and automation tools, such as Python, SQL, Power BI, and Prophet.
