Space Product Manager M/F
Within our Industry & Services BU, you will lead a project team in the field of mechanical components for the space industry, specifically the supply of recurring products based on drawings. As the primary point of contact for the client, you will ensure the management and reporting of projects for the clients you are responsible for, in compliance with contractual obligations, budgets, deadlines, and quality, while respecting health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements.
You will also be called upon for tenders concerning the implementation of CSI know-how developed on these projects and the development of services related to CSI products and know-how.
To successfully carry out this position, you must:
o Manage and ensure project supervision until delivery and potentially the commissioning of the systems and equipment concerned (with the support of the Industrialization Methods, Production, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Legal, and Financial departments); o Ensure the profitability of the business, contractual deliverables, and client satisfaction; o Elaborate the content and acceptability of amendment requests, and negotiate the amounts in agreement with Management; o Upstream, with the Bid team, you will participate in responses to calls for candidates and tenders for clients, both in France and internationally, and contribute, through your feedback, to the optimal definition of a winning technical and commercial proposal; o You will travel in France and internationally.
What we are looking for in you:
o Engineer by training, predominantly in Mechanics; o At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager/Production Manager of complex industrial systems and equipment (mechanics and automation) or in scheduling within the mechanical machining and/or mechanical welding fields; o Experience in team management or transversal management; o Negotiation skills and persuasiveness; o Excellent interpersonal skills and a keen sense of customer satisfaction; o Fluent English is essential.
