Indirect Commodity Buyer M/F

About the company

This job offer is entrusted to France Travail by LINDUSTRIE-RECRUTE.FRA within the Supply Department and reporting to the Indirect Purchasing Pole Manager, you will hold the position of Commodity Buyer (M/F).

Your tasks

You will operate with full autonomy across the entire Transport / Indirect / Framework Contracts scope in order to search for and select products and suppliers in accordance with the company's industrial strategy, while negotiating in compliance with safety, cost, lead time, and quality objectives.

• Analyze and process purchase requests issued by various departments (analysis of technical specifications of needs and negotiation in alignment with requirements)
• Negotiate purchases and draft orders by applying the code of ethics defined by CSI
• Search for external partners and suppliers
• Ensure supervision of supply (delivery times, quality control)
• Ensure coordination of supply flows with production flows (production planning, availability, internal lead times)
• Ensure stock management in compliance with the thresholds recommended by management and ensure cost optimization
• Provide progress reports regarding the contractual schedule and monitor the detailed progress of manufacturing (including tier 2)
• Collect quality documentation established by suppliers and perform first-level verification that quality files comply with order requirements

Requirements

You have developed or wish to develop skills in the following areas:

• Negotiation of indirect purchases and transport services
• Management and monitoring of framework contracts and orders
• Supply monitoring and stock management
• Coordination with production teams and supplier quality control

• Fluent English is essential (written and oral)
• Proficiency in office tools (Pack Office)
• Rigor, autonomy, and negotiation skills
• Compliance with the purchasing code of ethics

Other

• You will work within the Supply Department (Center 92BCR) in a stimulating industrial environment.
• Position to be filled as soon as possible on a CDI basis (Day shifts, executive status with day rate or non-executive depending on profile).
• You have a Bac +2 / Bac +3 level education in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Management/Commerce.
• This position is open to motivated entry-level candidates or profiles with initial experience.
