English Teacher – Online Classes

Responsibilities and duties

• Plan, prepare, and conduct high-quality, dynamic, and efficient live online classes, ensuring punctuality in the start and end of activities;
• Comply with the established schedules for each class, following the institution's methodology, pedagogical planning, and respecting the profile and needs of the students;
• Fully follow the guidelines, procedures, and standards established in the Projeto Conecta Guide, both in conducting classes and in the pedagogical and administrative processes related to the classes;
• Correctly perform roll call and record student attendance in all classes, keeping the information always updated in the system;
• Correctly record class diaries, including the content taught and other relevant information regarding the development of the classes, within the established deadlines;
• Apply and correct homework, activities, and written and oral assessments, offering students clear and constructive feedback that contributes to their evolution;
• Correctly and within deadlines enter grades, assessments, tasks, activities, and other academic information into the school management system;
• Deliver report cards, reports, and other requested pedagogical documents, respecting the established deadlines and procedures;
• Monitor student performance, participation, and evolution, communicating relevant situations that require follow-up to the pedagogical coordination;
• Encourage student participation and engagement during classes, providing a welcoming, dynamic, and interactive online learning experience;
• Stimulate and guide students regarding the use of pedagogical tools and resources provided by the institution, such as CNA Net, encouraging their use as a complement and extension of learning;
• Maintain professional and collaborative communication with the pedagogical coordination and other team members, participating in meetings, training, and alignments whenever necessary;
• Demonstrate commitment, organization, responsibility, and punctuality, both in conducting classes and in fulfilling all records, entries, and processes provided by Projeto Conecta.

Requirements and qualifications

• Advanced mastery of the English language, with excellent oral and written communication and confidence in the four linguistic skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing;
• Good teaching skills, communication, and poise to conduct live online classes, creating a dynamic, interactive, and motivating environment for students;
• Ease in working with different age groups and proficiency levels, adapting class conduction according to the profile and needs of each class;
• Knowledge and familiarity with educational technology, videoconferencing platforms, and digital tools used in online teaching;
• Organization, responsibility, commitment, and punctuality, both in conducting classes and in fulfilling pedagogical activities and processes;
• Ease in following methodologies, planning, procedures, and pedagogical guidelines, including the guidelines established by Projeto Conecta;
• Availability to participate in training, capacity building, meetings, and pedagogical events promoted by the institution;
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously seek professional and pedagogical development;
• Must possess a computer or notebook, stable internet access, and an adequate environment to conduct high-quality online classes;
• Previous experience as an English teacher in language schools or educational institutions will be considered a plus;
• Completed or ongoing degree in Letras, Pedagogia, Tradução, or related areas will be considered a plus;
• International proficiency certifications, such as Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalents, will be considered a plus.
