Production & Warehouse Operative
Your tasks
Are you practical, reliable, and happy to get stuck in? We are currently recruiting for a Production & Warehouse Operative to join a busy team, supporting the assembly, inspection, and preparation of products for despatch.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Assembling products and carrying out final inspection checks in line with quality procedures
- Preparing goods for despatch and ensuring all production requirements are met
- Checking paperwork to ensure production items are assembled correctly and reporting any discrepancies
- Supporting materials handling and other general warehouse duties as required
- Assisting with the unloading of incoming deliveries when necessary
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
- Following established production procedures and quality standards
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and wearing the appropriate PPE
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous
- Has a reliable and practical approach to work
- Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Is happy to undertake a variety of warehouse and general duties
- Can follow instructions, procedures and paperwork carefully
- Understands the importance of health and safety in the workplace
- Works well as part of a team and is willing to support colleagues when needed
What we offer
What's on offer?
- Salary of £26,740 per annum, rising to £27,827 after a successful probation
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays
- Free on-site parking
- Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.15pm
