Customer & Sales Coordinator Up to £28,000 per annum + benefits Melksham, Wiltshire Permanent

Are you an organised, customer-focused administrator who enjoys working in a busy sales environment?

We are working with an established business in Melksham who are looking for a Customer & Sales Coordinator to join their team. This is a varied role supporting both customers and the wider sales team, with a strong focus on order processing, customer service and sales administration.

You'll be an important part of the sales office, helping to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently while providing a professional and responsive service to customers across the world.

The Role:

  • Processing customer orders across email, phone, web, sales representatives and online platforms
  • Looking after customers by responding to enquiries, resolving queries and providing a professional, friendly service
  • Supporting the sales team with administration, order processing and identifying opportunities to upsell
  • Managing pro forma invoices, following up payments and processing credits and replacements
  • Keeping systems up to date, ensuring customer records, orders and CRM information are accurate
  • Setting up new customer accounts and carrying out credit checks where required
  • Keeping orders on track, liaising with the warehouse to ensure they are processed and dispatched within the required timescales

About You:

  • Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, order processing or a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy sales environment
  • Customer-focused, with a natural ability to build positive relationships and deliver great service
  • Confident and professional, with excellent communication skills across phone and email
  • Accurate and detail-oriented, particularly when processing orders and maintaining customer information
  • Tech-savvy, with confidence using CRM systems and other office-based software
  • A team player, who is happy to get involved and support colleagues across the wider business
  • Someone who takes ownership, uses their initiative and enjoys keeping things moving

What's on offer?

  • Salary up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • Free on-site parking
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (with 30 minutes for lunch)
  • The role is 100% office based
