Methods Service Manager M/F
? Your role
Reporting to the Plant Director, you will lead the Methods service and manage a dedicated team.
You are the guarantor of industrial performance, ensuring the reliability, standardization, and optimization of machining processes. You are a recognized technical expert at the heart of interactions between the Bureau d'Études, planning, and production.
? Your main activities
Technical management & industrialization
- Define, ensure reliability, and optimize machining sequences
- Guarantee consistency between costing, methods, and workshop execution
- Participate in the industrial validation of new products
- Master and evolve processes (taillage, 5-axis machining, rectification, etc.)
- Structure and lead the deployment of CFAO
Standardization & performance
- Deploy sequence standards and tool libraries
- Implement and monitor performance indicators for your service
- Lead continuous improvement actions for your service
Service management
- Supervise and structure the Methods team
- Organize workload, priorities, and relays
- Develop skills and manage team performance
Field presence & workshop support
- Ensure a regular presence in the workshop
- Support teams on methods and best practices
- Participate in the resolution of technical problems and process drifts
- Lead trials and contribute to the industrialization of new products
You are currently a manager with strong technical credibility, capable of intervening on concrete machining and industrialization issues. You have a field-oriented approach: you understand machine constraints, machining processes, and manufacturing realities.
Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanics / industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
