Management Accountant

CMC Consulting are working exclusively with an established international business to recruit a commercially minded finance professional for a broad Management Accounting role within their growing international finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their management accounting experience while also gaining exposure to finance systems, reporting and continuous improvement within a fast-paced, international environment.

Roles & Responsibilities Producing monthly management accounts, financial reports and insightful management information for senior stakeholders. Supporting the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journal preparation. Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Providing financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting to support commercial and operational decision-making. Supporting audit requirements and statutory reporting across multiple entities. Partnering with finance and operational teams to improve financial processes, reporting and controls. Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of finance reporting and workflows. Assisting with the administration and continuous improvement of the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Developing and enhancing reporting through automation and data visualisation tools where appropriate.

Skills & Experience ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent finance experience. Strong management accounting experience, including month-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis. Experience within a multi-entity or international business environment. Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. Experience partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders and presenting financial information clearly. Strong Excel skills, with experience using reporting tools such as Power BI highly desirable. Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central & Jet Reporting A commercially minded approach with a genuine interest in improving processes and reporting. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
