Your tasks

What will the Senior Financial Accountant role involve?

• Leading the preparation and review of year-end accounts, supporting audit processes, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, including budget planning and control account management.
• Managing a team of Assistant Accountants to uphold transactional finance duties, ensuring timely reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
• Ensuring accurate and timely submission of statutory and statistical returns.
• Developing and refining financial procedures and practices, providing strategic financial insights for key organisational decisions.

Requirements

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Demonstrates extensive experience in financial management and strong technical accounting capabilities.
• Possesses exceptional leadership skills and a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
• Has excellent technical knowledge of year-end processes, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
• Is proactive, innovative, and continuously seeks to improve financial practices and efficiencies.
• Exhibits strong communication skills and the ability to influence key business decisions at senior levels.
