Join CMA CGM Agence France SAS within our Agency Operations Department. The position is based in our Marseille agency, a strategic site for our maritime operations.
Your main mission:
Under the authority of the Operations Manager, you ensure the animation of the shipping agency teams, acting as the interface between the teams and the operations manager.
You ensure the smooth running of port calls and the shipping agency services for different types of vessels within your team.
You ensure the correct application of procedures and compliance with internal rules.
As a referent for your team, you support employees in their integration and learning and assist in resolving particular cases or difficulties at work.
Responsibilities:
In this context, you plan the port calls scheduled for the week. You update the vessel status daily for communication to all lines and terminal operators. You are the point of entry for the lines and the terminal regarding the definition of processing priorities for the various maritime services.
You arbitrate flows, coordinate handling, and define the necessary operations.
You manage operational incidents in order to provide appropriate responses.
You are responsible for the animation and support of the teams, ensuring the correct application of procedures, training teams on tools, and welcoming newcomers, providing them with training and integration.
You provide your management with weekly and monthly statistics of your activity.
You may be required to travel within the port(s) premises, and if necessary, work at night or on weekends in connection with vessel port calls.
Finally, you ensure compliance with the Quality, Security, and Safety procedures in force within the company.
Profile sought:
With a background in Transport Logistics, you have solid operational experience and knowledge of port professions, ideally in a shipping agency function.
You have perfect command of English and are comfortable with office and IT tools.
Your interpersonal skills, sense of organization, and rigor, combined with your reactivity, team spirit, and leadership skills, will be assets in successfully carrying out the missions of this position.
