ASSISTANT SITE ENGINEER WITH STEEL STRUCTURAL EXPERIENCE

Job Responsibilities Attend site meetings, inspections, and monitoring of project progress with the Main Contractor. Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk Other scopes of work to be assigned by the Managing Director Liaise with other departments to ensure information, materials or other resources to ensure project progress Any other tasks deemed necessary by the company related to the execution of projects Requirements -Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline. -Relevant experience in structural steel fabrication and/or erection. (at least 3 years experience) -Able to read and interpret structural steel drawings and shop drawings. -Knowledge of structural steel installation, bolting, welding and site coordination. -AutoCAD knowledge -Familiar with construction site safety requirements and WSH practices. -Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. -Able to work independently and as part of a project team. -Willing to work on construction sites and attend site meetings as required. -Able to speak and writing in English.
