Our client, a well-established independent company in Poole, is looking for a confident, organised Administrator / Sales Coordinator to join its close-knit team.

This is a hands-on role at the centre of the business. You'll be the person clients trust, colleagues rely on, and who keeps everything running smoothly. It's a role with a technical edge, so you'll be doing far more than answering emails.

  • Putting together job specifications and interpreting clients' technical requirements
  • Coordinating sales activity from enquiry to order, keeping everything moving and nothing missed
  • Supporting the accounts function with day-to-day tasks (this isn't an accounts role, but you'll be trusted to work confidently with the numbers)
  • Keeping records, systems and paperwork organised and up to date
  • Working closely with colleagues in a small team where everyone pitches in

About you

  • A strong and consistent administration background , with a work history that shows reliability and commitment
  • Confident and articulate on the phone, with a polished, personable manner
  • Comfortable with technical detail, or keen to learn it quickly
  • Experience raising invoices and a good head for figures
  • Meticulous, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • A team player who is happy to take ownership and use their initiative

What's in it for you

  • Competitive salary of £28,000 to £30,000
  • 37.5-hour working week
  • Company pension scheme
  • On-site parking , and easy access by public transport if you'd rather leave the car at home
  • Further benefits, which will be detailed as part of your application
  • A stable, established independent company, not a faceless corporate
  • A small, friendly team where your contribution is noticed and valued
  • Genuine variety: no two days are the same
  • Scope to grow with the business and develop your technical knowledge

Interested? If you're an experienced administrator looking for a role with more responsibility, variety and a proper sense of belonging, we'd love to hear from you.
