OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN M/F

As part of the 24/7 operation of the satellite systems operated at CLS and associated applications, after appropriate training, the operations technician will be responsible for:

• Controlling and monitoring the proper functioning of CLS's operational applications and IT resources,
• Controlling and managing all external interfaces,
• Implementing the necessary means and actions in case of detected anomalies,
• Monitoring the overall performance of the satellite systems for which CLS is responsible,
• Providing assistance to users in resolving their problems,
• Performing standard operations tasks associated with an IT center (backup, restoration, data production, etc.),
• Monitoring the resources and infrastructure necessary for the Datacenter's operation.

Profile sought:

• Technical knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems (basic manipulation in console mode),
• Technical knowledge of networks, Telnet, SSH, ftp, http, WebService,
• Technical knowledge: SQL ORACLE and PostGreSQL and SHELL and PHP scripting,
• General server knowledge (physical, virtual, cloud, CPU, RAM),
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios,
• General knowledge of office tools, O365,
• Notions of containerization (K8S/Docker) are a plus.

With a technical background at the B+2 level (BTS, DUT or equivalent experience) in computer science, you hold a first experience in an operations position, working specific - shifted hours.

Mastery of the English language is indispensable to successfully carry out your mission.

The position is open within the framework of a specific organization involving activity carried out exclusively on weekends or during night shifts.
