NetApp Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Experienced technology consultant with a significant level of hands-on field experience.
• Deploy post-sales on-prem, hybrid, and Cloud storage solutions. Coordinate with senior customer representatives and Sales teams. Solid foundation with IT infrastructure services, providing the ability to quickly become a Subject Matter Expert.
• Experienced in NetApp Storage deployment and administration of NetApp Storage.
• Experience or working knowledge with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform and scripting with REST API, PowerShell and Python would be beneficial
• Familiarity with public cloud concepts and architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be beneficial.
• A thorough understanding of other components in the infrastructure stack – Compute HW, Virtualization (Vmware, Hyper-V, KVM) and Container Orchestration (K8S and OpenShift) would be beneficial
• Strong understanding of Storage protocols and technologies.
• Experience in Cisco / Brocade Director Class SAN Switch.
• Infrastructure design and build, deployment and disaster recovery planning.
• Able to lead and delegate different functions within a project to ensure customer success.
