About the company

CliqueTech is a Nigerian software company that builds products to simplify everyday business processes, from operations to payments. We pair strong engineering with an agile, quality-first, on-time delivery approach.

Our flagship product is KliqueOS: the operating system for coworking and flexible workspaces in Nigeria. Bookings, payments, events, and admin in one place, priced in Naira and built for how Nigerian spaces actually run.

Your tasks

We're early, founder-led, and growing. Our marketing engine is running and publishing consistently. Now we need someone to own how everything looks, from every graphic we publish to the websites our customers land on.

We're looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Graphic & UI Designer to own the visual side of CliqueTech and KliqueOS. You'll design every graphic we publish, keep the brand consistent everywhere it shows up, and design updates to our websites and product pages, working directly with the founder, our marketer, and our engineers.

This is an early-hire role with real range: brand, social, marketing collateral, and web/UI design. It suits someone who wants ownership and wants to see their work shipped weekly, not sitting in a Figma file waiting for approval.

Brand & visual identity

  • Own and maintain the CliqueTech and KliqueOS brand systems: logos, colour, typography, iconography, and imagery style.
  • Build and maintain a shared design library (Figma/Canva templates) so the team can produce on-brand work fast.
  • Audit public assets for visual inconsistency and Klique/Clique/CoWorkspace naming drift, and fix it.

Marketing & social graphics

  • Design all published graphics: Instagram posts, carousels, reel covers, LinkedIn visuals, WhatsApp catalogue images, blog headers, and ad creatives.
  • Turn the content calendar into finished visuals on time, every time, working closely with our content/social marketer.
  • Design marketing collateral: one-pagers, the sales deck, case-study layouts, event materials, and email templates.
  • Support motion where needed: simple animated graphics, dashboard-tour and booking-flow visuals for reels.

Web & UI design

  • Design updates and new pages for our websites (cliquetech.io, the KliqueOS site, and other product sites): landing pages, feature pages, pricing, and campaign pages.
  • Improve layouts for clarity, conversion, and mobile-first use.
  • Produce clean, dev-ready Figma files and hand off to engineers with specs, assets, and responsive states.
  • Contribute UI improvements to the KliqueOS product (dashboards, booking flows, onboarding screens) as needed.
  • Review shipped pages against designs and flag what's off.

Process & collaboration

  • Manage a design request queue and prioritise with the founder.
  • Take feedback well and turn revisions around quickly.
  • Coordinate freelance illustrators/photographers/video editors when needed.

First 90 days (what success looks like)

  • 30 days: Brand audit done. Core brand kit and social templates live in a shared library. Owning all weekly social graphics.
  • 60 days: Sales deck and one-pager refreshed. At least one website page redesigned and shipped. Design-to-dev handoff process working smoothly.
  • 90 days: Every published asset looks unmistakably like us. A repeatable weekly rhythm the founder trusts without chasing, plus a clear backlog of web improvements in progress.

Requirements

Who you are (must-haves)

  • 1–3 years of graphic and/or UI design experience, or a strong portfolio that proves you can do the work. Portfolio required.
  • Strong visual fundamentals: layout, typography, hierarchy, colour, and spacing.
  • Proficient in Figma (components, auto layout, responsive frames) and Canva; comfortable with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalents.
  • Understands web design: responsive layouts, mobile-first, and how designs translate into code.
  • Highly organised: you hit deadlines without being chased, and you finish things.
  • Coachable and fast at iterating on feedback.
  • Understands Nigerian small-business audiences and how they engage (Instagram, WhatsApp, Naira pricing).
  • Based in Lagos or able to work Lagos hours.

Bonus points (nice-to-haves)

  • Motion design (After Effects, Canva, CapCut, Jitter, or Lottie).
  • Basic HTML/CSS/Tailwind, or experience with Next.js sites, enough to make small edits yourself.
  • SaaS dashboard or product UI experience.
  • Familiarity with conversion-focused landing page design.
  • Experience at an early-stage or founder-led startup.

What we offer

  • Real ownership, early. You own the look of a company and its products, not one narrow slice of it.
  • Shipped work, fast. Small team, short feedback loops. Your designs go live weekly.
  • Mentorship. Work directly with the founder and engineers, and learn how design drives SaaS growth.
  • A product people actually need, in a market that's wide open.

How to apply

  • Apply via https://forms.gle/cpHNyNBBHXT73n6R6 , with your portfolio link (Behance, Dribbble, Figma, or personal site) and 2–3 pieces you're proudest of, with a line on your role in each.
