ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a high-autonomy Developer Relations role sitting within the Growth team, where you will own how developers discover, evaluate, and succeed with a B2B SaaS platform. Your work will directly shape developer experience and drive measurable business impact through community engagement, technical content, and tight product feedback loops.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create technical content including documentation, tutorials, quickstart guides, sample apps, blog posts, and integration guides.
- Engage developer communities across GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, Reddit, X, and Hacker News.
- Build in-person relationships with developers and founders through local meetups and events in the San Francisco area.
- Represent the company at conferences, hackathons, and community meetups.
- Develop code samples and continuously improve developer-facing documentation.
- Translate developer feedback into actionable product insights for internal teams.
- Track and report on API usage, developer NPS, and community engagement metrics.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Developer Relations, developer advocacy, or a technical community-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, production-quality code alongside clear and compelling technical prose.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining technical content such as docs, tutorials, sample code, and integration guides.
- Experience with APIs, messaging platforms, or infrastructure products.
- Active presence across multiple developer community channels.
- Experience representing companies at technical events including meetups, hackathons, and conferences.
- Scrappy, playbook-building mindset that thrives in ambiguity rather than relying on defined processes.
- Background in AI or LLM technologies is a strong plus.
- Established personal developer following, open-source contributions, or community presence is a plus.
- Prior customer-facing or sales experience with technical developer audiences is a plus.
- Existing network within the San Francisco developer and founder community is a plus.
