ABOUT THE ROLE

Join a fast-moving AI/ML team in a technical role focused on applying strong quantitative thinking and engineering ability to data science challenges. This is an opportunity to contribute in a zero-to-one startup environment, where the team values practical output and adaptability over a conventional data science career path.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Use quantitative and engineering skills to develop practical solutions to data science and AI/ML problems.
• Work through ambiguous challenges and help turn early-stage ideas into useful technical output.
• Use agentic AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow.
• Collaborate with a technically strong team in a high-intensity startup environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Approximately 5 to 10 or more years of relevant technical experience.
• A strong quantitative foundation, such as a rigorous degree in mathematics or a related field, or equivalent depth.
• Experience in a technical role such as AI engineering, machine learning, software engineering, or data science. A data science job title is not required.
• Prior experience as an early startup hire, ideally in a team of 1 to 15, with hands-on work in a zero-to-one environment.
• Daily experience with agentic AI coding tools or comparable development tools.
• Comfort working at a fast pace, with a high level of ownership and intensity.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation is €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Hybrid in Berlin, Germany. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to Berlin.
