Sr Lawyer

The Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal support to Claranet, ensuring that all company operations are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This professional will act in the drafting and review of contracts, litigation management, legal counseling, and support for strategic decision-making, ensuring the protection of the company's interests and the minimization of legal risks.

Responsibilities and duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring they are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide legal advice to senior management and various areas of the company on legal and regulatory matters.
• Manage the company's litigation, ensuring the effective defense of Claranet's interests in judicial and arbitration disputes.
• Monitor and analyze changes in legislation and regulations that may impact company operations, proposing necessary adjustments to internal policies.
• Collaborate with compliance and governance areas to ensure that Claranet meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including memoranda, legal opinions, and internal policies, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal standards.
• Manage relationships with external law firms, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the services provided.
• Participate in the definition and implementation of legal risk mitigation strategies, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives.
• Conduct internal legal training to ensure all employees are aware of their legal and regulatory obligations.
• Report to senior management on legal and regulatory issues, providing analyses and recommendations to minimize legal risks and protect the company's interests.

Requirements and qualifications

• Education level: Completed degree in Law. Postgraduate studies or specialization in related areas is desirable.
• Certifications: Advanced certifications in corporate law, compliance, contracts are highly desirable.
• Courses: Experience in advanced courses in corporate law, legal risk management, compliance.
• Language level: Advanced English.
• Specific skills: Legal leadership, litigation management, support to senior management.
