Senior Claims Manager - Bermuda

We are currently partnering with a leading international specialty insurance and reinsurance organisation based in Bermuda to recruit a new Senior Claims Manager . This strategic role involves handling complex, high-value professional lines claims (primarily E&O and management liability, mainly for large US professional service firms) and will evolve over time to focus increasingly on portfolio oversight, technical leadership, and team management.

The position is open to candidates internationally, including Bermuda, US, UK/Europe and rest of the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and adjudicate complex professional liability and management liability claims.
• Provide technical guidance and act as the primary point of contact for complex inquiries.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop a high-performing claims team
• Collaborate closely with underwriters and management/leadership to improve file management, accountability, and customer service.
• Evolve into a pure management and portfolio review function within 1–2 years.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 8+ years industry experience and 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Extensive senior claims adjusting or management experience within the insurance/reinsurance market (London Market or international background preferred).
• Strong technical expertise in Professional Lines (E&O, D&O, Management Liability).
• Ability to operate autonomously, make sound technical decisions, and lead teams effectively.
