• supporting the definition and maintenance of group-wide project management standards, processes, and methods in Engineering (SUx and PUx) (Plan, Do, Check, Act)
• reviewing and improving the quality of project management in R&D projects
• supporting the use of project management tools and methods

Applying project management in R&D projects (Plan, Do, Check, Act)

• continuously improving project management for R&D projects together with development planners
• continuously developing the methodology of Simultaneous Engineering
• identifying the qualification needs for project managers
• defining requirements for project management tools and supporting their application
• providing project support (empowering project managers to be self-sufficient)
• regular coordination with all development planners

Coordination of R&D multi-project management

• creation of the A-project and project management performance report for the GEB
• ensuring the "Manage Red" process for red A-projects
• definition, implementation, and ensuring the application of the multi-project management process together with product strategy and development planners

Conducting milestone maturity audits (M2, M4, M5) for R&D projects, including documentation and reporting of results based on the CLAAS development process and the corresponding standards

Your profile:

• B. Sc., M. Sc. or comparable university education (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or similar disciplines)
• Proven strong competencies in project management (certificates such as PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA, etc., are an advantage)
• Sound understanding of the assessment of project and product maturity levels, including adjacent areas such as production and After Sales
• At least 10 years of professional and/or project management experience in R&D
• Experience in quality management is an advantage
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, strong negotiation skills, and a convincing appearance
• Independent, systematic way of working as well as strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form, as well as openness to intercultural cooperation
• Proficient use of MS Office and openness to further tools
• Ideally knowledge of the CLAAS organization
