Warehouse Assistant
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Jurong East West Region facility. This is a contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse operation and logistics. You will play a vital role in movement and management of goods, and contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock counts.
- Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams on deliveries and shipments.
- Ensure proper storage of goods in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, stacker)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Assist with documentation, including delivery notes and inventory logs.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as stacker, pallet truck and scanner, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and lift heavy items regularly.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all health and safety procedures.
