Section Manager - DC Lamphun

ob Summary The Section Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily operations within a specific section of the Distribution Center (e.g., Inbound, Outbound, or Inventory Control). This role focuses on achieving operational KPIs, managing a diverse team, and ensuring high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Direct and monitor all activities in the assigned section to ensure seamless warehouse flow and timely delivery/receipt of goods.

Inventory Control: Ensure stock integrity and accuracy using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts.

Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of supervisors and floor staff. Manage manpower planning and shift rotations.

Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the workflow and implement Lean or Kaizen initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols and 5S standards within the facility.

Reporting: Analyze operational data and prepare comprehensive daily/monthly reports for the DC Manager.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or SAP. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Soft Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle shift-based schedules if required. Location: Must be able to work at the Lamphun Distribution Center.
