New Business Development
Job Summary
Support the Business Development team in identifying, sourcing, and developing new business opportunities for CJ in Singapore and the region across Food, Beauty, Entertainment, and other lifestyle and consumer sectors.
Conduct market and industry research, evaluate potential business opportunities and partnerships, and support the development of new business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market and industry research to identify new business opportunities in Singapore, Korea, and the region
- Source and assess potential business opportunities, partners, products, and strategic collaborations
- Analyse potential opportunities based on market potential, commercial feasibility, and business fit
- Prepare research findings, business reports, presentations, and market updates
- Maintain and update business leads, market information, and project records
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support business development initiatives
Preferred Competencies and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sourcing, strategic partnerships, market research, or a related field is preferred
- Strong research, analytical, and business evaluation skills
- Good understanding of business development, market entry strategies, and new business development
- Good understanding of Korean and Singapore market environments, consumer trends, and business culture
- Able to work independently with strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
