Design Drafter M/F
Imagine, design, develop: bring to life the urban furniture that equips the cities of tomorrow. Within our Bureau d'Études, you will participate in every stage of projects, from technical study to manufacturing support, in a collaborative and stimulating environment. Reporting to the Direction des Opérations, within the Bureau d'Études and the Produit Mobilier Urbain activity, the Design Drafter intervenes in the design and technical development of urban furniture products and equipment. He/she works in close collaboration with project, development, and production teams, as well as external partners. The position is placed under the direct responsibility of a Chef de Projet, who ensures the management and monitoring of the assigned studies and developments.
Your missions, if you accept them: Reporting to the Direction des Opérations, you will intervene within the technical design office team. Your missions will notably include:
- Ensuring the design of a study project in the field of Mobilier Urbain, based on a specification document and/or technical specifications.
- Studying projects and preliminary designs for new furniture.
- Studying developments on existing equipment.
- Elaborating assembly drawings for a mechanical project.
- Creating detailed drawings.
- Writing the bill of materials related to the project.
- Monitoring the development of the project.
- Providing technical advice to external partners (B-E or industrial subcontractors).
- Developing new technical solutions.
- Elaborating technical manuals to assist our assembly teams.
- Participating in meetings with our Management regarding future Appels d’Offres projects.
- Participating in meetings with the development team.
🔍 What we are looking for:
- Bac +2, +3 in industrial design or DUT or licence mécanique.
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Mastery of manual drawing techniques (freehand sketching) and computer-aided design (CAO and DAO).
- Use of PRO-Engineer drawing software.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical standards and international specifications.
- Knowledge of the principles of resistance of materials.
- Good interpersonal skills with the various teams at the Headquarters and our Agencies.
- Knowledge of the Office pack.
- Mastery of English.
Job conditions: Contract type: 6-month CDD
Status: Agent de maîtrise
Remuneration: Based on profile and experience over 13.5 months
Weekly working time: 37H + 12 RTT
Teleworking: yes
