Job Description
At Circular IT Group, we work towards a circular future for IT hardware. With our various brands, we give servers, storage, and networking equipment a second life and help companies reduce their ecological footprint.
You know better than anyone where to find the right deals for networking, server, and storage hardware. In this role, you will have plenty of room to work independently, but you will also work closely with colleagues from sales and product management. As Senior Purchaser Networking Server Storage, you will maintain an overview of your supplier portfolio, closely follow market developments, and know exactly when to strike to get the best price and delivery conditions.
What will you do?
- Actively sourcing networking, server, and storage hardware from suppliers, ITADs, datacenters, and brokers worldwide
- Negotiating prices, delivery terms, and conditions
- Calculating and analyzing prices and margins using Excel and internal tools
- Building, maintaining, and expanding relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Identifying market and product trends and translating them into concrete purchasing opportunities
- Collaborating with sales and product management to optimize inventory and margins
Requirements
Who are you?
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B procurement, in the IT hardware sector
- Knowledge of networking, server, and storage hardware or willingness to develop this quickly
- Commercially strong, decisive, and result-oriented
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Fluent English, Dutch is a plus
