Responsibilities and assignments

• Lead freight intelligence analyses, evaluating market trends, capacity availability, seasonality, and price behavior by origin and destination;
• Prepare and monitor freight budgets, rolling forecast, and logistics cost projections, supporting leadership decision-making;
• Develop short, medium, and long-term transport planning scenarios, contributing to integrated planning and logistics strategy;
• Perform economic feasibility and profitability studies for new flows, network changes, distribution centers, modes, and supply origins;
• Identify and drive cost reduction and efficiency increase opportunities through cargo consolidation, route optimization, increased vehicle occupancy, and mode review;
• Comparatively analyze the performance of carriers, autonomous drivers, and other logistics partners, supporting management and contracting decisions;
• Structure, monitor, and improve logistics performance indicators, such as freight per ton, TKU, vehicle occupancy, plan adherence, fleet availability, service level, and savings;
• Develop executive dashboards and management analyses, transforming complex data into clear information to support decision-making;
• Conduct diagnostics and action plans using indicators, PDCA, and continuous improvement methodologies;
• Act as a strategic partner to the Commercial, Logistics, Operations, and other corporate areas, proposing solutions and challenging processes in search of greater efficiency;
• Foster a data culture and evidence-based decision-making in the Logistics area;
• Participate in innovation projects, digital transformation, and the evolution of logistics processes, including initiatives related to TMS, Control Tower, and Logistics 4.0;
• Support the development and implementation of excellence programs, procedures, standards, and logistics policies, also contributing to knowledge dissemination and team training;
• Participate in strategic projects from diagnosis and resource sizing to supplier definition and solution implementation;
• Act in the identification and capture of operational and financial efficiency opportunities, contributing directly to business results;
• Share knowledge and exercise technical leadership, supporting team development and the construction of high-performance solutions;
• Act in compliance with the principles, values, Occupational Health and Safety policies, Environment, and the Code of Conduct of Cimento Nacional.

Requirements and qualifications

What we are looking for

Mandatory requirements:

• Completed higher education in Administration, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, Planning, Market Intelligence, or related areas;
• Experience with transport planning and management and/or freight intelligence;
• Knowledge in budget control, cost management, and profitability studies;
• Experience with management and analysis of performance indicators;
• Advanced Excel;
• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools;
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems;
• Knowledge of PDCA and continuous improvement tools;
• Intermediate English.

Will be considered a differentiator:

• MBA or postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Data, or related areas;
• Experience in TMS implementation projects, Control Tower, or Logistics 4.0;
• Experience in large companies and/or high-complexity logistics operations;
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, or Artificial Intelligence tools;
• Knowledge of applied statistics, Machine Learning, and predictive modeling;
• Knowledge of Operations Research and Network Design;
• Experience with the application of AI in logistics;
• Advanced English.
