Ref RL IEM2 MECHANICAL PROJECT DESIGN ENGINEER ETI specializing in the development, construction, installation, and maintenance of complex handling systems for multiple sectors: energy, aeronautics, heavy industries. As part of its nuclear activity, one of its subsidiaries operates in the upstream fuel sector (enrichment) and downstream (reprocessing-storage) for all aspects related to lifting, handling, and storage. The development of its activities in the La Hague region requires the reinforcement of its design office.

Missions: Within the design office, you will participate in the design and realization of special machines intended for the lifting, handling, or storage of nuclear fuels. Reporting to the technical project lead, your activities will cover the entire design cycle in connection with drafters, manufacturing, and site teams. In this context, you will:

• design mechanical solutions in partnership with drafters, taking into account regulatory and normative requirements (EN13001, FEM, KTA, RCCM)
• perform calculations for mechanisms and boiler plate parts using RDM, FEA
• verify drawings and bills of materials and write technical documentation
• monitor manufacturing, including subcontracting
• participate in the assembly of equipment as well as testing and commissioning

You will be required to travel occasionally to sites depending on project progress

Skills:

• Graduate Engineer: Master's degree in mechanics or electromechanics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a special machines design office
• Knowledge of the nuclear sector
• Proficiency in CAD and calculation software: Analytical Rdm - Ansys or other FEA
• Knowledge of RCCM - EN13001 - FEM - KTA
• Knowledge of lifting - handling is a plus
• English B2
