Project Manager (Project Management Officer) (M/F)

Ref CM CPD CHEF DE PROJETS MECANIQUE SYSTEMES COMPLEXES DEFENSE + French Nationality Mid-cap company of 3,000 people designing and manufacturing highly technical industrial systems as well as service and operating provisions in various fields related to the environment, energy, naval and space industry, and defense, both in France and internationally. Its BU dedicated to the design and construction of high value-added land military equipment is looking for a highly experienced mechanical or generalist Project Manager to supervise major projects.

Missions: As part of the studies and implementation of complex mechanical systems (€2 to €10M) intended for the French army or internationally, which require "secret-défense" security clearance, you will be in charge of:

• the preparation of offers within your area of responsibility
• the planning of the project entrusted to you, to be carried out either internally or subcontracted
• compliance with contractual commitments to the client in terms of QCD
• business profitability
• steering the multidisciplinary teams assigned to your project: studies, purchasing, production, quality, safety, assembly, project managers
• steering industrial activities abroad: subcontractors, sales agents
• the drafting and negotiation of amendments
• monitoring KPIs and reporting

Profiles:

• Master's degree in Engineering, primarily in mechanics or generalist
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in an industrial environment, ideally in defense
• Practice of managing major projects in France and for export
• Negotiator
• Good level of English
• Familiar with teamwork
• Good interpersonal skills with external contacts
• Availability for occasional travel
• Eligible for Secret-Défense clearance
