We are looking for a Node.js Tech Lead to lead our BFF (Backend For Frontend) team and work on innovative projects for our clients.
This position requires residency in Campinas to work on-site every day; this position is 100% "on-site".
Responsibilities: Lead the BFF development team in creating scalable, high-performance applications using Node.js. Coordinate the development of robust APIs and back-end services that meet the specific needs of front-end interfaces. Define application architecture, promoting best practices and the adoption of modern technologies. Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate services and APIs, ensuring a seamless user experience. Perform code reviews and promote a continuous learning environment within the team. Mentor and provide continuous feedback to team members, helping in their professional development. Ensure the implementation of automated tests and CI/CD practices, using tools such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai. Solve technical problems and challenges during development. Work in a hybrid and distributed environment, with high client exposure.
Requirements for this challenge: Experience as a Tech Lead, Node.js Developer, or in a similar role. Solid experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express or NestJS. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with CI/CD practices and versioning tools such as Git. Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team. Advanced oral and written communication skills in English.
Desirable: Experience in microservices development. Knowledge of GraphQL and RESTful APIs. Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA or Trello. Experience in application architecture and scalable solution design.
Important: Availability to work on-site every day at the Campinas base.
