*Job Overview* The Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house activities in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting. *Duties*

  • Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Train, mentor, and manage front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
  • Oversee the scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas to meet health and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels for bar and dining supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a keen ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations.
  • Experience in bartending is a plus; familiarity with beverage service standards is beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
