Join the Cashless Revolution: Digital Order Taker at a renowned Nigeria-based restaurant.
A renowned Nigeria-based restaurant is a 100% cashless, digital-first establishment. We are looking for an energetic and tech-savvy Digital Order Taker to be the face of our front-of-house operations. You will manage walk-in and phone orders using our custom Admin Dashboard and process all payments securely via our integrated bank POS terminal. You are the critical link between our customers and our kitchen.
Your tasks
What You’ll Do
- Process walk-in and phone orders.
- Manage the integrated bank POS terminal.
- Monitor the Kitchen Display System (KDS) and ensure food is marked “Ready” for customers.
- Verify customer pickups and driver handoffs using our custom QR Code scanner.
- Perform daily cashless transaction reconciliation and sales balancing.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and report discrepancies immediately.
- Support customer complaint handling at the front desk.
Requirements

Essential
- 1+ year experience in customer service, cashiering, or retail (QSR experience is a plus).
- High level of accuracy and integrity (zero-cash tolerance policy).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- OND or equivalent minimum; HND/BSc preferred.
- Basic bookkeeping and daily sales reconciliation ability.
- Familiarity with POS terminals and digital ordering systems.
- Availability for shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- NYSC certificate/discharge where applicable (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
