Your tasks
About the Role A renowned Nigeria-based restaurant is looking for a highly organized Delivery Coordinator to manage our in-house delivery fleet. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and love using tech to solve real-world problems, this is for you. You will manage our Live Dispatch Map on the Admin Dashboard, ensuring customers get their food hot and fast. You will oversee the Hybrid Auto-Dispatch system and step in to manually route orders when needed.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor the Live Dispatch Map and manage real-time driver assignments.
- Create Multi-Stop Batch Deliveries (grouping up to 3 orders for one driver).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for riders/drivers, handling SOS alerts and reassignments.
- Step in to manually route orders when needed.
- Maintain dispatch logs and daily delivery performance reports.
- Track driver availability, delivery times, and failed deliveries.
- Coordinate with customer care on delivery complaints and escalations.
Requirements
Essential
- 2+ years’ experience in logistics, dispatch, or fleet management.
- Experience with Google Maps API or logistics routing software.
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem-solving skills.
- OND/HND/BSc in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience with local delivery platforms such as Chowdeck, Glovo, or Bolt Food (preferred).
- Basic Excel/data entry skills for dispatch reporting.
- Familiarity with driver documentation and fleet records.
- Availability for shifts, weekends, and peak delivery periods.
- Strong integrity and accountability in dispatch records.
