Business Analyst Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

As an experienced Business Analyst Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, you will be the key link between our business and our application landscape. You translate business needs into workable functional solutions, optimize processes, and help us successfully take the step towards a renewed ERP landscape with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This is an internal role within our own IT team: no consultancy, no changing clients, but one landscape that you help build and get to know inside and out. You are joining at a pivotal moment: we are renewing our application landscape and taking a major step with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations; you will be given the space to help shape this.

What will you do?

• You think along and build with the growth of the organization: you help shape the strategic projects with which we are renewing our application landscape to Dynamics 365 F&O, from analysis and functional design to rollout.
• You analyze business needs and translate them into clear functional specifications and solution proposals.
• You collaborate on the design, configuration, testing (functional and UAT), and documentation of the new Dynamics 365 F&O solution and the surrounding applications.
• You guide key users and end users through training, adoption, and support as the primary point of contact.
• You coordinate the change management process from request to rollout; you monitor quality, planning, and impact.
• You direct external suppliers and specialists for construction, integrations, and connections, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.

What do you bring?

• At least 5 years of experience as a business or functional analyst, with demonstrable hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 F&O (or AX).
• Strong knowledge of financial processes and modules (general ledger, vendors/customers, fixed assets) and translating them into system solutions.
• Experience with requirements engineering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, and testing/UAT.
• You communicate fluently in English; after all, you work within an international environment.
• Analytical, structured, and strong in stakeholder management; you effortlessly bridge the gap between business and IT.

Pluses

• Experience with a D365 F&O implementation or rollout is a strong plus.
• Certification MB-310 (D365 Finance Functional Consultant), obtained or the willingness to obtain it; MB-330 (Supply Chain) and/or MB-320 (Manufacturing) are a great addition.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment and with production and supply chain processes in D365 F&O (planning, bills of materials/BOMs, inventory) is a strong plus within our production context.
• Affinity with Power Platform, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and basic knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Agentic AI (AI agents / agentic automation) is a plus; this is increasingly entering our environment.
• Experience with data migration, integrations, and working according to Agile/Scrum.
