We are looking for a Driver cum Cleaning Supervisor who can lead our post-renovation cleaning team and ensure every job is completed to Chowa’s standards. ⸻ Job Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Cleaning Operations

Lead and supervise a team of cleaners at post-renovation cleaning sites. Review the scope of work before commencing each job. Allocate tasks efficiently according to the site condition and scope. Demonstrate and guide cleaners on proper cleaning techniques. Monitor cleaning progress and ensure the team stays on schedule. Step in to perform cleaning tasks when required. Ensure cleaners follow Chowa’s cleaning procedures, standards and safety practices.

1. Quality Control

Conduct systematic checks throughout the cleaning process. Conduct a final Quality Control (QC) inspection and walkthrough with homeowner before leaving the site. Identify areas requiring touch-up and ensure they are rectified. Take before/after photos and document any defects, stains or areas outside the cleaning scope. Escalate issues or potential customer complaints to management promptly.

1. Driving & Logistics

Safely drive the company vehicle to and from cleaning sites. Transport cleaners, cleaning equipment and supplies between locations. Ensure all required equipment and chemicals are loaded before leaving for a job. Keep equipment properly organised and secured during transportation. Conduct basic checks of the vehicle and report maintenance issues. Assist with loading and unloading equipment.

1. Customer Interaction

Represent Chowa Cleaning professionally when interacting with customers, IDs, contractors and other site personnel. Provide customers with a brief update on the cleaning progress when appropriate. Manage customer expectations regarding cleaning scope and site conditions Escalate disputes, complaints or requests outside the agreed scope to management.

1. Team Management

Set clear expectations for cleaners at the start of each job. Monitor punctuality, productivity and work quality. Provide on-the-job coaching and feedback. Ensure cleaners maintain professional conduct and appropriate communication with customers. Report recurring performance or disciplinary issues to management.

1. Equipment & Chemical Management

Ensure equipment is used correctly and safely. Monitor the condition of cleaning machines, tools and accessories. Ensure chemicals are correctly labelled, diluted and used according to company procedures. Report damaged, missing or low-stock equipment and supplies. Ensure equipment is cleaned, dried and stored properly after each job. ⸻ Requirements Valid Singapore Class 3 / 3A driving licence. Comfortable driving a company van and transporting cleaning equipment. Previous cleaning experience is preferred. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is an advantage. Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on cleaning work. Comfortable working in post-renovation environments involving dust, debris and repetitive physical work. Good attention to detail. Responsible, punctual and organised. Able to communicate clearly with cleaners and customers. Able to work independently and make practical decisions on-site. You will spend the majority of your time on cleaning sites rather than in an office. The role involves driving, lifting equipment, walking, bending, kneeling and performing cleaning work alongside the team.
