Project Manager – Carpentry / Interior Fit-Out

About the Job

We are a construction trade company doing carpentry, interior fit-out and related works. We are looking for a Project Manager with strong carpentry experience to manage our carpentry team and carpentry projects from start to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage carpentry and interior fit-out projects.
• Plan work schedules, manpower, materials and deliveries.
• Coordinate with clients, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate carpentry fabrication and site installation.
• Check drawings and site requirements.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship and quality.
• Attend site meetings and follow up on site issues.
• Coordinate with the factory and site team to make sure materials are ready and delivered on time.
• Check project costs, variations and materials with the QS/commercial team.
• Supervise Project Coordinators, supervisors and workers.
• Make sure work is carried out safely and according to drawings and requirements.
• Prepare progress updates and project records.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction, carpentry or interior fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry works , including fabrication and installation.
• Experience managing carpentry projects in Singapore.
• Able to read architectural and carpentry drawings.
• Able to manage site workers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage several site activities at the same time.
• Singapore construction experience preferred.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
