NURSING AIDE

A Nursing Assistant in Chong Hua Hospital provides support to the healthcare team in performing patient care and routine procedures such as: hygiene, care and transport of patients, care of febrile patients, patient/materials, transport equipment, conducting fall prevention rounds, facilitating safety and infection control as well as admission and discharge processes. S/He adheres to the standard procedures in the documentation of materials, instruments and equipment that are used in the unit; as well as in transporting materials and specimens. S/he contributes to the maintenance of a safe and hygienic environment by ensuring the order and cleanliness of the unit and relevant equipment, as well as performing other duties as directed by immediate superior.

Qualifications/Requirements: Has completed at least two (2) years or 72 units of college education and with NCII.
