Job Description & Requirements

• Design & Analysis: Perform structural analysis and design for steel members, connections, and framing systems.
• Documentation: Create detailed design drawings, calculation reports, and specifications.
• Code Compliance: Ensure designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Coordination: Liaise with architects, contractors, fabricators, and other consultants.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD etc.) for modeling and drafting.
• Project Lifecycle: Involved in conceptual design, detailed engineering, fabrication review, and site support.
• Site Visits: Conduct site inspections to verify quality and adherence to design intent.

Requirements

• Degree in civil or related engineering trades.
• Strong understanding of steel properties, structural mechanics, and physics.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD programs.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
