Purchasing Officer
Job Description Participate in the purchasing process such as sourcing, negotiation and monitoring delivery schedule. Establish good relationships with new and existing suppliers. To ensure that all purchasing documentation is completed and information is updated. Provides purchasing reports to the management.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery capability. Request and compare quotations from suppliers. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and other commercial conditions. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Other adhoc duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience in the construction industry. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Work well under pressure and able to work independently. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willing to work at site office. Work time profile: 6 days. Work location: Tuas Area.
