Your tasks
To manage the contract administration process, both pre and post tender stages:
- Pre-Contract Stage:
- Review tender drawings and specification to ensure all measurements and quantities are accounted for to achieve realistic commercial value for each project.
- Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off in excel sheet, materials sourcing, measuring, and estimating material and labour costs used in the tendering process.
- Prepare tender quotations for review with management and submission to clients.
- Post-Contract Stage:
- Provide procurement support during contract phase. Sourcing of local and/or overseas vendors.
- Prepare monthly progress claims, including variation orders claims.
- Monitor project budget and perform cost controlling.
- Prepare cash flow data progressively.
- Finalize project accounts/claims.
- Perform other duties and task assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Preferred with 2 years’ experience in steel structure fabrication or similar field, but fresh graduates welcomed to apply.
- Diploma or higher education in Civil & Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar field.
- Meticulous, analytical and eye for detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and tight schedules.
- Highly motivated, self-driven with initiative to work independently.
- Sound computer literacy, including advance skills in excel.
- Advance level of English, in both written and spoken.
