Senior Retail Associate (Full-time)

Chello is opening its first store in Orchard, and we’re building the team who will welcome our customers there. Chello creates refined clothing for women who want to feel confident and at ease in what they wear. As a Senior Retail Associate, you’ll support daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and assist in guiding and mentoring the retail team to achieve sales and operational goals. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Assist customers with product selection, enquiries, and recommendations.

Drive sales by promoting products, promotions, and special offers.

Support daily retail operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, stock replenishment, and inventory checks.

Ensure the store is clean, organised, and presented according to company standards.

Assist with visual merchandising and maintain attractive product displays.

Handle customer feedback, enquiries, and complaints professionally.

Support the Retail Manager/Supervisor in achieving sales targets and operational objectives.

Guide and support junior retail staff, including providing on-the-job coaching and training.

Monitor stock levels and assist with stock receiving, transfers, and stocktaking.

Ensure company policies, procedures, and service standards are consistently followed.

Assist with administrative and other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of retail or customer service experience.

Previous experience in a senior retail, supervisory, or team-leading role is preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Positive, proactive, and responsible attitude.

Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Good problem-solving and organisational skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
