Dispatch Rider

Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations: Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and other items to customers and designated locations within Surulere and surrounding areas. Route Planning: Plan and select efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and ensure prompt deliveries. Package Handling: Handle all packages and items with care to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement during transit. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain proof of delivery where required. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a polite, professional, and courteous manner while representing the company. Motorcycle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the delivery motorcycle to ensure it remains in good working condition. Compliance with Traffic Laws: Strictly observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies while riding. Communication: Maintain regular communication with the Dispatch/Operations Team and promptly report delivery updates, delays, incidents, or other challenges. Safety: Adhere to all company safety procedures and ensure the safe transportation of goods at all times. Problem Solving: Resolve delivery-related challenges promptly and escalate issues requiring further attention to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of a BSC 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
