Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Job Description We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead the development, implementation, and integration of AI technologies across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving AI innovation, improving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth through intelligent automation and data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's AI strategy, roadmap, and implementation plans in alignment with business objectives.

Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions, including machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation.

Identify opportunities to integrate AI technologies into existing business processes to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Oversee AI projects from conceptualisation through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and measurable business outcomes.

Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and tools for potential business applications.

Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and develop innovative AI solutions.

Establish AI governance frameworks, including data security, privacy, ethical AI practices, and regulatory compliance.

Manage AI-related budgets, resources, external vendors, and technology partnerships.

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and training to support AI adoption across the organisation.

Monitor and evaluate the performance, reliability, and effectiveness of deployed AI solutions.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in AI, machine learning, software engineering, or technology leadership.

Proven experience in developing and implementing AI strategies and solutions within a business environment.

Strong knowledge of machine learning, large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and AI automation technologies.

Familiarity with Python, AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and data analytics tools.

Strong project management, strategic planning, and problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.

Experience managing cross-functional teams and external technology partners is advantageous.
