Naval Mechanical Technician (M/F)
Job Description:
Within the Warranties-After-Sales Service (SAV) department, under the responsibility of a Vessel Warranty Account Manager, you manage the processing of Warranty Reports (PV) issued by the client in your technical field. You are responsible for the administrative and technical processing of warranty reports.
You review and verify the validity of the vessel's observations and claims.
You organize the necessary actions in relation with suppliers and the company's technical sectors.
You organize onboard missions between the Shipowner and our intervening suppliers or subcontractors.
You organize the follow-up of spare parts deliveries onboard the vessel.
You prepare and participate in warranty meetings onboard the vessel in operation (analysis of problems in the field, reporting on progress). You escalate important issues via the quality department to share feedback and improve future ones.
You keep the Warranty Account Manager permanently informed to ensure customer satisfaction and budgetary control.
Occasional travel is to be expected.
Profile Description:
Desired Profile: You have good technical foundations in mechanics, piping, electricity... ideally in the naval field.
You have good interpersonal skills in order to communicate with the various stakeholders (Internal Chantiers de l'Atlantique/Clients/suppliers).
You are proficient in office IT tools.
A good level of English is necessary for this position (written, spoken).
